Family Travel: Streamlining Adventures for Lasting Memories
This case study showcases my very first UX project: designing a mobile app called Family Travel. With a passion for fostering spontaneous family adventures, I embarked on this challenge to create a solution that simplifies travel planning and empowers families to create lasting memories.
The provided prompt called for a travel app, but I envisioned something more. Family Travel goes beyond booking flights and hotels. It offers a comprehensive planning platform tailored to all family types and travel styles.
Through this case study, I'll walk you through my creative process, from understanding user needs to developing and iterating on prototypes. You'll also see how I designed the app to address key challenges families face:
Streamlined trip planning: Manage flights, accommodations, activities, and itineraries seamlessly.
Personalized recommendations: Discover family-friendly attractions and hidden gems based on interests.
Shared budget tools: Collaborate on trip costs and stay organized.
Engaging travel guides: Access offline guides with child-friendly content and interactive features.
More than just a concept, Family Travel is a functional prototype ready for user testing and further development. This project ignited my passion for UX design, and I'm excited to see its potential come to life with user feedback and collaborative efforts.
